MKT freight at Sealy,Tx
Author: gcm

May 88
This westbound Katy train is crossing the Santa Fe Southern Division at Sealy.
In the second shot the track in the distance paralleling the MKT (for just a short distance) is the Santa Fe Cane Belt Branch that began here and heads south.

Spend many days at that crossing. Especially watching the Missouri Kansas Texas transition from red paint scheme to the green and yellow paint scheme with F units in the consist.

Love it! What year did they tear the depot down? Was it a joint agency with Santa Fe?

Is that a "home shop built" caboose?

Not sure about the joint agency (probably was).
The station lasted till the mid to late 60's.
