Big Blue Monday

Two things around the Easton, PA area.

1.  A westbound high and wide extra crossing the former Lehigh Valley bridge over the Delaware River from NJ to PA.  Note the new railings on the former CNJ bridge on the left.  The LV bridge would soon be removed from service due it's type of construction.  April 17, 1988.

2.  Westbound Mail-3 or Mail-9 passes by the site of the old roundhouse just west of the Easton station.  In spite of it's age, the house is still there, used by NS MOW crews.  The extra power was a normal occurance on these trains.  August 2, 1992.

Cool Dimensional load !  Looks like some sort of arched bridge support.
