Nostalgia & History > Depot Friday … East DallasDate: 09/10/21 14:26 Depot Friday … East Dallas Author: WrongWayMurphy East side of what is now downtown Dallas, crossing of T&P and Houston & Texas Central.
First photo early teens in its heyday, second in demo mode mid 1930's. Dallas' Union Station opened in 1912 made this one surplus. It was used for storage for many years before being demolished during the depression. Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 09/10/21 14:28 by WrongWayMurphy. The others were: T&P, Katy, Santa Fe, and Cotton Belt. T&P trains also stopped at this H&TC depot as did Texas Midland for a short while. |
