Did you stick around for any clean up pics with the hook?

The Steam powered SPWM 7020 was out of Dunsmuir for a number of years…but by ‘76 she might have been in Eugene, OR, or somewhere further north.

I wonder what was the closest hook?

SPMW 7020 and tender lived in Klamath Falls for a few years too, don't recall the dates.

This was a cold incident, pronbably happened days before, no active clean up while i was there.

Looks like the SP east end of the siding with Spring Hill in the background of #2. The outside of the curve is a bit of a fill with the road and then some open areas, the inside of the curve has an LPG Distributor.

SP 228834 was only a couple of years old when that happened.
