Nostalgia & History > Three for Warbonnet WednesdayDate: 09/15/21 19:19 Three for Warbonnet Wednesday Author: srman I find myself very fortunate to have made trips out west in the 90's to capture a few of the Santa Fe warbonnets, On September 11,1991 my first visit I found myself at the Flagstaff Az. station as an eastbound rolled by. Four years later on July 5, 1995 I'm at Cajon as a light power group heads east with GP60M 150 up front. Then finally on July 7, 1996 I'm again in the Cajon area at the Swartout Canyon Rd. crossing as another nice consist lead by the 859 heads east. It was a great time to catch this iconic scheme before it all turned orange.
