SP 7+3 Moving the coal along the Truckee River 1991

Typical SP coal train with 7 units on the head end and the 3 unit Truckee helper pushing on the rear. Train was moving close to 40 mph coming into the Truckee CA, but the steeper climb between Truckee and Norden will slow it down a bit. Rear helper was likely added outside of Reno at Lawton, NV.
