Forty Or More Years Ago - EL 7124
Author: refarkas

(Redo) It's a cloudless day in March 1973. EL 7124 is on the point of an eastbound going through EL's yard in Kent, Ohio. Imagine how many railfans would chase a train with an F7A and three E8A's on the head of a mixed freight today.

Thanks for sharing. With my limited photography of the EL (almost all at Huntington, Indiana), I get the impression in their last years of service, the F units rarely ventured west of Marion, Ohio.

A lot would've chased it back then also!...if they knew!  Disseminating information at that time was akin to tin cans and string compared to what we have today.
