Nostalgia & History > Train Master TuesdayDate: 11/30/21 05:50 Train Master Tuesday Author: thebluecomet Started digging through some boxes and realized that I had been scanning my own slides, but was bypassing the duplicates purchased back in the 1980's. Since many were starting to show signs of deterioration, such as spider webbing, I have been making an effort to get the older ones scanned and cleaned up. I will add any info from the slide, especially the photographer for proper credit.
Jersey Central Train Master 2402 and SD40 3062 are on the ready track at the Bethlehem, PA engine terminal on what looks like a cold and snowy day. Without any other info, I'm going to guess the date as early 1968. Not certain whether the two could be MU'ed. Photo by R.L.
