Westbound Wednesday, SP 8504 West & 9803 At Different Locations
Author: FiveChime

Last years of the SP. Once pleasant sounding Nathan P3 horn on SD40 8504 is going fowl
and of course all the original SP light packages have been replaced with blinkers.
Most frieght cars remain graffitti free however.
The second clip shows new SD70 9803 West south of Klamath Falls, Ore.
Awful push button activated K3 horn. SP was going downhill fast!

Pulling through Oakridge brought back great memories; been there, done that many times.

9803 looks like Midland.   Lots of flat spots on 8504's train.  Gotta love those filthy dirty ghost like Espee helpers!

My guess is late 1994 as that 9803 was built 7/1994 and it was cleeeeeeean!
