Lemme get the fun started: “Hey youse guyz, this ain’t funny! WHAT didja do with my track???

1. AT&SF 3672 is being spun on the turntable at the 32-stall steam-era roundhouse in Emporia, KS on March 3, 1978.

Looking for a track!

No problem getting the engine out of there - just use the elevator!

The 3672 is actually an alien life form that feeds on "fresh and neat" energy.  Now that it's sucked all it can from its surroundings, it's ready to move on.

Of course! When you apply the general definition of "roundhouse" as it describes any engine sevice facility... The Emporia roundhouse was basically a diesel service facility from circa 1955 on...

I know many roundhouses serviced diesels, and there are probably a few that still do.  But were there any roundhouses built in the USA after 1960 to service diesels?  Gerry
