A Couple Of Anything - PC 4976/CR 8281

Here are two from Pennsylvania.
1.) The remains of PC 4976 are in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on August 22, 1978.
2.) CR 8281 is leading a freight west on the Rockville Bridge in Marysville, Pennsylvania on June 27, 1988.

It's too bad there weren't any New Haven EP-5 "Jets" saved.

That shot on Rockville, looks like one of the ex WAB GP35's in consist. Weren't many low nose GP35's on N&W. Good catch. Ben

That N&W GP35 has dynamic brakes, which would make it a former P&WV unit, either 1300 or 1301.

Great EP-5 find.  Surprised they were not all cut up before 1978.

IIRC, per a Classic Trains article, crews hated them, as they were very unreliable.
