1993: CR's "We Support Our Troops"

June, 1993 found CR's 6707 "We Support Our Troops" trailing on a coal train down in Roanoke, Virginia. It was given that paint scheme to show support for the troops during Operation Desert Storm in 1991. Considering some of the paint schemes seen nowadays, this one seems very basic in contrast.

Good catch, looks like that is pushing a load down the Pumpkin Vine from the N&W main.  That's a bit of a rare move.
