Santa Fe seventies show . . .

.   .   .   in JUL '75, a "Wilmington Turn" was eastbound a couple of miles from it's turn around point of Watson yard, passing through Carson, CA, on the Harbor District with a train that kind of looked into the future as forty years later container traffic would dominate this branch.

I've heard a zillion times how much those "bell-ringers" were hated out west. But through a railfan camera it was actually a treat to see a real-live GP35 in the Midwest... ;^)
