A Pretty CF7
Author: MartyBernard

Maryland and Delaware Railroad CF7 2630 making a light engine run to Cambridge, MD on March 14, 2013. This CF7 was built as ATSF F7A 42C in October 1952.

NOTE: I never take video, but once in a great while I have no choice and use my DSLR. The results are awful, but I had to take the guy.

There is no such thing as a pretty CF-7 but this comes as close as possible.

I'm with 462 Pacific, at least this one has the, more acceptable to the eye, rounded roof.

It has it's own enginehouse under cover, a loving railroad, and a flat one at that.   There aren't a whole lot left, let alone in that condition.

It's sister down there did not fare as well, turned into a donor.

Yes, and it was a sad thing to do to an F unit. However, this one has a curved cab roof, which is a little better than the ones with the angled roof.
