Nostalgia & History > U.P. SD-7 info. please…Date: 11/23/22 21:41 U.P. SD-7 info. please… Author: Texican65 Hi guys!
I just recently learned that UP had SD-7’s, although not too many I believe. I was wondering if somebody could elaborate on them a little bit, how many there were, where they lived, what duties they performed, etc. etc. Did anybody on here ever run them? Any good stories? Any good books featuring them? Thanks! Tex Posted from iPhone Date: 11/23/22 21:44 Re: U.P. SD-7 info. please… Author: swaool This is probably a good place to start:

I had seen several of those TO postings, but not all of them…so thanks for the additional info. Hoping to hear some stories from somebody who ran them. You answered all my questions, and I appreciate you taking the time to write that up. It would sure be neat to find a picture of the two in Liberia.
Tim…thanks for your great picture! What was that little shack used for…seems pretty tiny for a break shack. Interesting about the horn also Jim, thanks! Posted from iPhone Edited 2 time(s). The SP seemed to have a different weight for each of their classes, intending them for lightweight branches, or helper duty, etc. |
