Broadway st passed over the SP main  and Broadway Yard  and then the Santa Fe.  All the SP stuff is now gone. .

Nice one with the  wig wags . Thanks for sharing.
Bet that Olds Delta 88 Royale gave a " big ride " to customers.

Is it SP or AT&SF?  The wigwags look like the way AT&SF set them up.

Looking at old aerial photos, the buildings look right for Magnolia Ave. facing east.  Not much for comparison there now other than the right kind of pole line on the right and streetlight across the tracks:

If I'm reading the history at the following page correctly, the furthest track with the freight cars on it was MKT (now UP), the middle track was built by T&NO (SP) and the near track by GC&SF (Santa Fe).  However, in 1961 SP and Santa Fe moved their diamond a few blocks further south and swapped tracks between Rosedale St. and Allen Ave. to give SP more room to work the south end of Broadway Yard.

If all those assumptions are right, along with the assumption that not even SP was installing wigwags as late as 1961, the wigwags in the photo would be Santa Fe legacy.

Nice catch, one of my FW regrets. Believe this was on the SF...

I agree that those were not originally installed by SP. They look pretty typical for Santa Fe.
