.   .   .   back in MAY '97, searchlights were protecting former Santa Fe MKM 5353 eastbound crossing the SP at Navasota, TX, on BNSF's former Santa Fe line to Silsbee, TX. Back when, this was a great little town to visit with Santa Fe, MP and SP all crossing within a quarter mile of each other. Today, only the BNSF and UP are present.

Great photo at a location not seen often enough.  Nice to see Direct Traffic Control in effect.  Thanks for posting.
