Nostalgia & History > A Couple Of Anything - EL 2575/WM 81Date: 01/17/23 21:47 A Couple Of Anything - EL 2575/WM 81 Author: refarkas Here are two.
1.) EL 2575 (EMD GP35) is in Kent, Ohio in February 1973. 2.) WM 81 (EMD BL2), 138 (Slug), and caboose are in Hagerstown, Maryland on July 7, 1973. Unfortunately, the caboose would not fit into the slide's image. While the lighting and composition of Photo 1 may be better, my preference is for Photo 2. It conveys a real feeling of WM. Thanks for continuing your duo series. ALLEN Date: 01/17/23 23:03 Re: A Couple Of Anything - EL 2575/WM 81 Author: exopr Really cool shot of that GP35!

I like everything about it. As many times as I photographed the BL2/slug combo, I don't recall once shooting one featuring the slug in the foreground.
