Nostalgia & History > B&O 3302 in Camden Station in 1995Date: 01/24/23 10:59 B&O 3302 in Camden Station in 1995 Author: ClubCar When Railroad Passenger Cars (RRP) closed down in 1995, they donated all their cars and all other assets to the B&O Railroad Museum in Baltimore. For the Christmas Season, the B&O R.R. Museum loaned the Club/Observation Car 3302 "Edward G. Hooper" to the MARC Commuter Trains and the car was in the new MARC Camden Station, Track 3 (photo 1) for both CSX and MARC usage. This was the first time that any original B&O passenger car was in on the new station tracks. The original station can be seen in the background now owned by the Maryland Stadium Authority and where the original tracks used to come into the station, that area is now a parking lot for Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The sad thing is that this car (photo 2) is now rusting away in the front yard of the B&O R.R. Museum, a real shame. Photo from MARC now in my collection.
