Getting nosy with General Electric (vol #7)
Author: santafe199

We’re running a little “2-fer” special on GE noses today... ;^)

1. UP 2886 & 2924 share the sunlight in Marysville, KS on July 16, 1977.
Original Kodachrome slide by James W. Watson.

Thanks for looking left & right!

Great light on those pug noses. I once saw three of 'em leading trains lined up like that on the starting block at the yard in Kansas City, Kansas ("KCK" to those of us who know the region). Didn't have a camera, but it was a memorable sight - briefly (saw what looked like the special agent coming down the road in the distance, and I skedaddled). This image sure brings back a happy memory...even if one is sorta kinda "missing". Thanks for a good one!

Sweet one, makes that armour yellow really jump out at you. Probably just had their DuPont overhauls.
