Nostalgia & History > Name that Santa Fe passenger trainDate: 03/26/23 00:38 Name that Santa Fe passenger train Author: edsaalig The photo was taken some time in June of 1952. The Santa Fe DC-192 was running as a single unit. The DC-191 was in an accident which required major welding work over the right front of the cab. My question is which Santa Fe passenger train is nexts to the RDC? It seems that the photo was taken in the afternoon, (photo was taken by Harold Williams)

Or 20 cars +/- on just an ordinary summer weekend up until Amtrak. Date: 03/26/23 18:39 Re: Name that Santa Fe passenger train Author: 2720 I love this photo! I've been looking for a photo of the
Santa Fe 3245, the 1941 Budd built Coach-Observation on the rear of the train! This car still exists today, although it no longer looks like this, the Santa Fe squared ended the car in 1962 as a straight coach to run midtrain! I now own this car! This car ran on the San Diegans from 1941 to 1947 and was later transferred to other Santa Fe lines!
