Massillon Monday - CR 6830
Author: refarkas

CR 6830 is westbound in Massillon, Ohio on July 3, 1988. The train is crossing the Tuscarawas River. The track to the right of the two Conrail tracks is the now ripped-out NS line from Massillon, Ohio to Dalton, Ohio.

Bob - great shot, thanks for sharing.  Neat to see the old W&LE branch to Dalton in the foreground, once part of a W&LE route between Navarre and Orrville.  Did you ever photograph a train on that line?

I only photographed a couple trains on the line from Massillon to Dalton. I wish I had taken photos in Dalton as my photographs were at railroad crossings with nothing to show which line it was.
