Is this your image or Bruce Black's-?  Great meet photo.  Was this taken around Boulder, CO-?

How about Broomfield on the C&S?  The GP30 is headed for Longmont via CB&Q's Lafayette Branch so is on the siding, the southbound is on the main.
Sure miss that paint scheme.

Broomfield is correct ... not my shot ... always figured it was a Bruce Black shot (but my scan doesn't have name) as he really covered this area ... and it's the kind of photo he would work to get.

That GW Sugar tank car really sweetens this photo!

Yup, sure looks like Broomfield to me. I used to live a couple of miles away to the north, many years later when it looked a whole lot different. But the echoes were still there.

A top-notch image. What I would have given to see Broomfield like that, with the chinese red paint on the motors, and that oh-so-sweet (pun!) Great Western Sugar tank car. And that Frisco box, in fresh paint and apparently recently out of the shop, is pretty sweet in its own way, too. Thanks, valmont.
