Little train at Archer

In a series that just sorta created itself, here’s a complete contradiction of terms. It might be a little train, because photographer Jim Watson was in the habit of starting his shooting sequences early. But the sky & the surrounding prairie look pretty big to me. And that’s one big-ass locomotive on the point... :^)

1. UP 6901 is eastbound at Archer, WY on August 9, 1979.

Thanks for looking back!

Non-traditional view of Archer.  Unmistakably UP.

I like that view of Archer with this Centennial on her way East.
