How many 2023 safety violations do we see here?

Superb shot!

That is a great pic.  Grabbing 19 orders  wasn't always easy.  Thankfully I grabbed orders from an engine rather than a caboose, but like that flagman sometimes I had to step outside.  Most of the trainorder racks I encountered were not tall enough for E-units.  I had to step outside on the top ladder rung and still bend down to grab the orders.  Thankfully there was an inside handrail to hold onto.

In this day age age of no caboose, this scene would not be happening, therefore  no safety violation(s)....

Today most, if not all, of the information and instructions formerly given in line of road 19 orders can be sent to your PTC screen for you to acknowledge.  Once acknowledged, it is cataloged for you to retrieve on screen as needed - as are your initial dispatcher bulletins.  The newly received and acknowledged instructions are added to your PTC enforcement profile and appear as you near them on your screen.  If they don't appear you comply as always and inquire.

Maybe no glasses. Not near locomotive so no ear plugs. Not on ground so no vest. Honestly I can’t think of what he would be doing wrong, but I know some chickensh!t CO could dream up a whole page of “exceptions”.
