Nostalgia & History > Warbonnet Wednesday: Quads at Zarah!Date: 05/31/23 06:55 Warbonnet Wednesday: Quads at Zarah! Author: santafe199 Back in the days when solid consists of Red & Silver ran all over the Santa Fe system. During the Super Fleet era, the former SFe timetable location of Zarah, KS was a frequent ‘go-to’ shooting location for my late friend Tony Fey. It would seem he didn’t mind those crossing lights looking like the Leaning Tower of Pisa. (“Leaning Lights of Zarah”???... ;^)
1. AT&SF 123 leads a westbound hotshot intermodal at the W 71st St crossing at the old SFe timetable location known as Zarah, KS. This crossing has since been torn out. Original Kodachrome slide taken in July of 1995 by the late Tony Fey. Thanks for looking back!
