All three are interesting Dale.
1. appears to be Wayne Jct with MU's.  SEPTA strike perhaps?
2. appears to be on the North Penn with iron ore for Bethlehem.  Former bridge abutments look interesting.
3. just about anywhere on the Reading  (same train as #2?)

1. Maybe when one of the two Wayne Electric Rotary transformers quit while the other one was down for rebuilding around 1980? View is taken at the leads into Wayne Electric Shops. Not sure why there are piles of lumber there.
2. The old bridge was replaced when the 309 Expressway was built and a new interchange was included for Route 152, with a new bridge over the Bethlehem Branch, where this photo was taken.
3. It does appear to be the same train taken a few minutes earlier maybe at the north end of the center siding at Meetinghouse Road, Telford, PA

GONUT1 -  "2. The old bridge...."  I'm wondering if "The old bridge"
abutment was the former Lehigh Valley Transit line? Maybe.....?
Also, photo 1, BoeJoe is probably right about it being a SEPTA strike special.

Pretty big lashups of 4-axle power for the Reading. Thanks for sharing.

CP Morris,
That was the "Old State Road' bridge. The Lehigh Valley Transit line crossed Old State Road perpendicularly just out of view to the left.
