Nice shot!  Hard to believe Amtrak rostered these.

The ex-PC RS3s were used mostly in MOW service, and occasionally as station switchers in Boston.  If they ever pulled a passenger train over the road it would have been as a rescue engine.  However, Amtrak's Adirondack was powered by a pair of ex-B&M RS2s for a short time while the D&H PAs were being rebuilt in Idaho.

Amtrak RS3s did see revenue service on the Hartford Line hauling SPVs before they were parked in January 1986.
