Nostalgia & History > KC&IAL #102Date: 09/19/23 05:00 KC&IAL #102 Author: PVSfan Would someone like to comment on this locomotive type or the railroad (Kansas City & Independence Air Line)?
I have nothing more than the photo itself. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 09/19/23 05:07 by PVSfan. Date: 09/19/23 06:06 Re: KC&IAL #102 Author: swaool Well, the loco looks like a Mason Bogie (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mason_Bogie_locomotive) and I think the KC&IAL became part of the KCS.

It ran into Independence Mo, I don't have any dates or other info, some older KC maps show it. A google search of the KCS might show the road. KCRW287
