It is interesting to see how many sources still do not mention the "s." For example, Wikipedia says: "Pennsylvania Railroad 1361 is a 4-6-2 K4 "Pacific" type steam locomotive built in May 1918.."
Pennsy Power by Alvin F. Staufer identifies the locomotive correctly. I suspect there is confusion because some may suspect that many locomotives are being referenced. For example: K4s vs. K4s's. I guess this is an example of "Precision Railfanning." B&O Bill |
