Nostalgia & History > Warbonnet Wednesday . . .Date: 03/27/24 11:34 Warbonnet Wednesday . . . Author: 3rdswitch . . . in the early morning of May 23, 1990, Santa Fe 100 was idling away at Santa Fe's Hobart diesel service facility at Hobart Yard in Los Angeles, CA. In just a couple of hours the 100 and company would be making it's first eastbound trip out of Los Angeles leading train 2-891-23 to Chicago.
