According to TrainWeb, SWPC / Mojave Northern had three of these, all preserved:408 FM H20-44 L1042 12/1947 ex SWPC 69; ex UP DS1369 to Illinois Railway Museum409 FM H20-44 L1032 6/1947 ex SWPC 66; ex UP DS1366; nee FM 2000 to PSRM as UP DS1366410 FM H20-44 20L832 3/1954 ex ACY 505 1984 to CTC,Galveston,TX as UP DS410, 1984

They are the only examples of the model that survive.

The latticework of handrails on the front of that loco are just amazing! A modeler's nightmare! Great photo. I miss all the locos of the late 40's and 50's. So much more interesting that today's functional building block locos. Yawn!!!

It has been over forty years since I last traded slides with him, so I don't know if he is still with us or not.
