RVM-44:: Classic BN (NP) local in Montana w.vintage cars

Bruce Black photo ... his note: "BN 1714 crossing MILW Piedmont MT Alder-Whitehall wayfreight 10/3/72". Tthe 'green wave' hadn't yet washed away all the history as evidenced by the cars, especially that NP 'Pig Palace'!!

Behind that NP boxcar was the Piedmont substation. This was an NP train headed down the branch to Twin Bridges, Sheridan, and possibly Alder.
