Depot Friday: Interurban Style
Author: MacBeau

Waiting for the next Sandusky, Milan & Norwalk car. There is no date on this image from the Richard Egen collection, but would be before the 1901 takeover by the Lake Shore Electric.
Be of good cheer,

To say life was a little different then would be a massive understatement! My first wife and I somehow came in possession of a great example of a steamer chest akin to the one on the baggage cart. It was a great "Hippie" project. We kept the exterior completely original while re-finishing and decorating the interior and the drop-in 2 compartment tray. It sat at the foot of the bed. Hmmm? I wonder where that went? I'm guessing with the ex when I divorced her along with all my rail slides of the era. She wasn't real happy about that whole divorce thing.
Such is life.
