Nostalgia & History > Switcher Saturday, SP . . .Date: 04/20/24 11:31 Switcher Saturday, SP . . . Author: 3rdswitch . . . normally I only do real switch units, but, on this day, a rare Extra Torrance was run on a Sunday, and, with a rare GP9 as part of it's Torrance Switcher power. Of the literal decades of seeing and chasing SP's Torrance Switcher, I have only seen a GP 9 used three or four times. As stated, on a Sunday in MAR '84, an extra Torrance was working near downtown Torrance, CA, with the 3409 as half of it's power.
