Nostalgia & History > Retired Santa Fe derrick in Winslow '96Date: 04/25/24 17:31 Retired Santa Fe derrick in Winslow '96 Author: GreenFlag On 5-7-96, came across retired Santa Fe derrick 199796 sitting in Winslow, AZ. On the boom, it is lettered for Amarillo.

For being almost 70 y.o., it's lookin' pretty good here. I had forgotten that the one that I photo'ed in 1996 was on display there now. Turns out that I had some pictures of it when I stayed at the La Posada in June 2009.
