Nostalgia & History > KM at MartinezDate: 04/25/24 19:51 KM at Martinez Author: photobob I was over at Martinez one night and was told there was a KM leading an eastbound. I had my flash equipment with me so I figured a night shot was in order. There was a Train master visiting with the operator and I told him my plan. He said blast them and scare the hell out of em. The SP was great.

SR Date: 04/26/24 07:47 Re: KM at Martinez Author: WestinAshahr I'd say you succeeded with the Trainmaster's instructions! There's some amazing detail of not only the crew but also the cab interior. A truly fine shot!

I'm reminded of the saying attributed to Louis Pasteur: "Chance favors the prepared mind". Substitute photographer for mind in this instance. Tim Costello |
