A Cab Unit trio from 1982

1. Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) F9PH-7181 is leading W/B commuter train #37 as it makes its station stop. It was built in January of 1952 as Baltimore & Ohio F7A-937, and later re-numbered to B&O 4580. It was re-built by Morrison-Knudsen to an F9PH. 7:18PM on 6-18-82 in Point of Rocks, MD.

2. Denver & Rio Grande Western F9A-5771 and F9Bs-5762 & 5763 are leading E/B #18, the Rio Grande Zephyr, as it zips through Lehi, Utah. 8:04AM on 7/2/82.

3. VIA FP9A-6530 (ex CN 6530, built 5/57) is W/B passing under the Plains Road West overpass in the Royal Botanical Gardens. 2:49PM on 8/14/82 in Hamilton, Ontario.

Nice looking trio!  I really like that MDOT paint scheme.  That second shot is "off the chart" in terms of light and composition!!  Thanks for sharing.
