The exhaust stack is just ahead of the cab. Date: 04/29/24 21:14 Re: Switcher Saturday - B&M 802 Author: BM4266 On the B&M the whole unit would first be painted gold and then the stripes and name area taped off. The maroon would be painted last and apparently not a good quality paint or the red would react with sunlight and wear off easily. They did look pretty ratty after a decade or so. The passenger E units never looked that bad.
