The "other" Portland Terminal's Alco switchers
Author: swaool

Inspired by Valmont's post (see https://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?11,5854842), I dug out these two shots showing Alco switchers operated by the "other" Portland Terminal.  The 1056 (built new for PTM in 1950) wears a B&M-derived scheme, while the 1061 (ex-D&H 3041, later Bay Colony 1061) is in a later scheme that appears to be MEC-based.  Two photos by David LeGloahec, my collection.  Portland ME, slide mounts say 9/74 and 8/74 respectively.
