Nostalgia & History > Spokane and Inland Empire questionDate: 04/28/24 15:27 Spokane and Inland Empire question Author: jofegan Is there any remaining trackage of this interurban still in existance?
Looking at the publically available maps from the last century, it looks like this railroad went everywhere south and east of Spokane. Found this logo on one of the maps which seemed pretty cool as well. Thanks, --j Date: 04/28/24 16:27 Re: Spokane and Inland Empire question Author: swaool Not sure about trackage, but there is at least one remaining structure; a substation converted to a private residence in Mt. Hope WA. Photo taken 6/17/2021.

Pretty apt, actually.

There was very little left and what remained was used to interchange with other railroads in Colfax (UP), Palouse (NP, W&IM/MILW), and Moscow (NP & UP). I suspect much of that trackage has been removed since I left the area.
