We MRL guys would talk about it from time to time. But I didn't know it went further south. And I certainly never knew there was a "Sheridan", Montana! Thanks for the education... :^)

Author: WoodwardEJ This map, which appears on page 63 of RAILS TO GOLD AND SILVER, Volume II by Bill & Jan Taylor, shows the full extent of the former Northern Pacific Alder Branch, which extended south from Whitehall, MT to Alder, MT. It was originally built as the Gaylord & Ruby Valley between 1897 and 1901.
