The Stewartstown Railroad has no freight customers, and they operate a few old Reading Railroad Passenger Cars and some cabooses along a portion of their line out of Stewartstown. The majority of the line needs to be rebuilt to be able to reach the connection to the Northern Central and is being performed under the leadership of the non-profit group called the "Friends of the Stewartstown Railroad" who are slowly rehabbing the line.
