Weso Wednesday: 6-17-1992 EB SP/CNW/UP/SF Colorful Consist+Power!
Author: RailRat

I spent a lot of video tape and time here at Weso, Nevada crossover in the 1990's
And here is one of my favorites as an Eastbound SP crosses over from SP to UP (WP) tracks and the Engineer notches up the throttle, once a good portion,or all of the cars clear the crossover.
Thus beginning the shared trackage use between here, east to Alazon, Nevada.
I will try to post more from Weso on Wednesday if I can later.

Last posted on 10/19/2017 but I thought its worth another look. Thanks for Looking! (Turn up your Bass or Subwoofer when the units are audible, but there is wind noise at beginning of footage)

What a fantastic consist!

I remember the ATSF units being and other borrowed power on Espee consists from the 1990s. I have some videos of the ATSF units as well.

Good location where both SP and UP were both running a good number of trains.

Thanks for posting.  I was curious as to the CNW engine, looked like an 8000 SD60.  I'm wondering if the Santa Fe GE, which looked like a C30-7, wasn't a lease return engine that GE released.  That would be my guess.
