Larry Date: 07/31/24 12:18 Re: Tehachapi Hot Rods Author: callum_out Hot rods? That train with the EMDs could barely make it up the hill!
Out Date: 07/31/24 12:52 Re: Tehachapi Hot Rods Author: coach Lots of MAY TRUCKING on that PCX. I wish UP or BNSF would run more TOFC on their I-5 lines these days, BNSF especially. Utilize thatr Inside Corridor and get the trucks off of I-5!

I wonder which train this was and how big / heavy of a train? About a month later I was fortunate to have a round-trip cab ride from Barstow to Bakersfield and return on trains 199 and 991. I don't recall any helpers being used on those hot trains. Date: 08/01/24 15:32 Re: Tehachapi Hot Rods Author: MacBeau Coming away from a dead stop, it did pretty well. Thanks to all for the kind words.

A premium time to be watching trains over the pass. GP60 overload!
Any chance of a video showing the whole train(s)? Would love to see more of those oddball May Trucking trailers. Thanks for sharing. Date: 08/01/24 20:46 Re: Tehachapi Hot Rods Author: atsf121 funnelfan Wrote:
