Author: valmont Here's a couple leased CN units leading on 9/17/77 with Castle Rock Colorado in the background. The Santa Fe leased some CN units during that time period but had to renumber them due to conflicts w/ATSF numbers.

Side question: If you have a lead unit that lacks dynamics, can they be controlled in a trailing unit that has them? I'd assume there is no hardware on the control stand if the unit isn't equipped with them. |
