Hydra-Cushion

Reading through my company's internal newsletter I came across this.  An interesting read with some good, yet watered down, technical information.

What a fascinating article as I had long wanted to know about  the SP Hydra-Cushion boxcars I saw in Texas years ago . Thanks for sharing this info.

Company initials which used to stand for "Stanford Research Institute".  Now we're just SRI International.  Responsible for such things as the computer mouse, the PC, Ethernet, that yellow "first down" line on your TV screen during a football game, color TVs, etc.
