Anybody know if the car pictured above may have been it?

I have shots of AMTK 3260/ex-NYC 10632 "Wingate Brook" and AMTK 9252/ex-CB&Q 377 "Silver Solarium" on the Lone Star at Joliet on successive days in August 1974. mike woodruff north platte ne Date: 09/18/24 08:21 Re: Sunset Limited crossing San Jacinto River Author: Hou74-76 I probably washed the windows of both of the Lone Star consist sets pictured in this thread. At the beginning of my time at Amtrak I was a coach cleaner and I volunteered for exterior duties as opposed to inside work. I vividly recall our Amtrak supervisor RR Mitchell tell me the Lone Star was one of Amtrak's premier trains. The observation cars on the Lone Star appeared intermittently up to May, 1975 according to my log book. And of course with the addition of the Dallas section added to the rear of the train at Fort Worth, working an observation down to Houston was impossible
