B&O ran numerous weekend excursions over that line, using RDC's from the Baltimore-Washington commuter pool. The row homes on the other side of North Kent Street have recently been demolished and replaced with modern housing. CSX continues to operate this line today for stone traffic and interchange with the Winchester & Western Railroad. The B&O station still stands and for a time it was used for offices by the Winchester & Western Railroad. Not sure if W&W is still using it.

The renumbering took place in 1970. /Ted Date: 09/18/24 19:17 Re: Need Location on B&O Author: edsaalig I was told by a B&O CEO that the blue and gold was added when the cost of removing the ATSF red was too expensive in terms of labor cost. Much cheaper to paint the B&O blue and gold over the red.

By the way, I believe that Bill Howes was a passenger on this particular excursion.
