Don't know how often LV relocated their traveling billboard, but it sat adjacent to heavily trafficked U.S. 22 in Hillside, NJ for quite a while.

I'm unfamiliar with this car but I take from the comment below that this was a non-revenue car that was moved from time to time from one highly visible location to another simply to advertise?   I take notice of the fact the side of car does not include the normal numbers/data found on a car in regular service.   Thanks for anyone able and willing to share more history behind this interesting car.

Neat! I recall seeing a Reading and Northern boxcar used for advertising their passenger service some years ago.

Interesting and unusual car.  I'll agree with the "used for advertising" comments.  However, don't you think it's odd that Sayre is not located on the main line?  Thanks for posting.

Neither are Bethlehem or Allentown!
